IVC: Six texts adopted in Abidjan for the industrial development of cocoa and cashews in ECOWAS

Abidjan (Ivory Coast) - West African ministers of industry and agriculture have adopted Friday in Abidjan, six texts related to regional quality infrastructure for industrial development the cocoa and ' cashew, APA reported on in the Ivorian economic capital. 

According to the Ivorian Minister of Industry, Jean-Claude Brou, these texts concern '' the Quality Community Council (QCC), the Community Committee of the Technical Regulations (CCRT), the Regional Accreditation System (RAS) the Valuation Community Compliance Committee (ACCA), the Metrology Community Committee (MAC) and the quality of Regional Agency (ECOWAQ) ''. 

All these structures, explained Brou at the close of the seminar will enable the effective implementation of the activities identified in the framework of regional policy ECOQUAL quality. 

'' By adopting the mode of operation of these structures, we give the ECOWAS Commission technical instruments necessary for the implementation of common quality policy, '' said Jean-Claude Brou who praised '' quality work and fruitful exchanges that enabled the adoption of important texts for the development of regional infrastructure quality ''. 

The Abidjan meeting which lasted two days saw the participation and support of technical and financial partners of the ECOWAS Commission including the European Union (EU), the United Nations Organization for Industrial Development ( UNIDO), the African Accreditation Cooperation (AFRAC), the German Agency for Metrology (PTB) and the African Electrotechnical Standardization Commission (AFSEC).
