Guinea-Bissau president José Mário Vaz has protested against the decision of his country’s government to ban foreign citizens from buying cashew nuts directly from growers, adding that the government’s decision is “harmful for the economy”.
Vaz added that the progress of the cashew nut trading season was “weak”, in declarations made to journalists in Prábis, in northeastern Bissau.
