Abidjan, 11 May 2017 - The Eurofind Industrial Group plans to engage in the processing of cocoa and cashews in the Ivory Coast. The project was set Wednesday, May 10, 2017 the Prime Minister Amadou Gon Coulibaly during an audience granted to Adham El Khalil, Group CEO. "We came to take stock of our activities and especially the Prime Minister to inform him of our future projects focused on agribusiness," said Adham Khalil El reveals that these future activities will be interested in the transformation of cocoa, cashew country. According to El Khalil, structure received encouragement from the Prime Minister and the promise of government support for the project.
Ivory Coast, the world's largest producer of cocoa and cashew respectively 1,900,000 tons and 700,000 tons, plans to 2020 transforming 50% of these products. The conversion rate is currently 30% for cocoa and 7% for cashew. Present in Ivory Coast since 1972, Eurofind exercises in steel, metallurgy, dairy, brewery, etc.
