"the government's options are clear on the valuation of our productions. Its  commitments on the transformation in 2020 of 50% of cocoa and 50% of cashew, are important issues for the creation of at least 100,000 direct jobs, "said the head of the Ivorian government. For Gon Coulibaly, is the transformation of annuity products that will add value and will make the country immune to external shocks such as price volatility in international markets and in particular the fall in prices.

The Ivory Coast is world's largest producer of cocoa and cashew, with respectively 1.9 million tons and 700,000 tommes. However, it only processes 30% of its cocoa production and 7% of its cashew.
SARA 2017 will be held in Abidjan from 17 to 26 November, with the theme: "The structural transformation of the agricultural economy to climate change." This meeting which is in its 4th edition aims to develop, promote and develop all the wealth of agriculture, livestock and fisheries.

The Ivorian agricultural sector currently represents 22% of GDP and more than three quarters of non-oil exports. It provides jobs and income for two thirds of households, but its contribution to economic development and food security remains below its potential.
