The South-Comoé region is a large producer of oil palm and rubber, in addition to local processing units of the raw material.
After the reform of the coffee-cocoa sector (2012) and cotton-cashew committed in 2014, the palm oil industry to-rubber is about to be reformed. This reform will have to sit a regulatory body in each of these two sectors.
